About us

A small studio that builds like an in-house team

We started REACT CODER because we were tired of watching good product ideas die in bad delivery. Nine years later, the model has not changed: senior people, small teams, honest estimates.

Our story

Founded on a simple frustration

In 2017 our founders were on opposite sides of the same problem — one running product at a scale-up, one leading engineering at a large agency. Both kept seeing the same failure: projects sold by senior people, then delivered by whoever was on the bench.

So we built the studio we wished we could have hired. Every person who works on your project has shipped production software for at least five years. The person who scopes the work is on the team that builds it. We deliberately run a small number of engagements at once, and we turn work down when we are full rather than staffing it thin.

Today we are a distributed team of forty across North America and Europe, and we have shipped more than a hundred and twenty products for founders, scale-ups and enterprise teams.

Values

Five things we will not compromise on

Honesty over comfort

If we think your idea has a fatal flaw, or that you do not need us, we will say so on the first call. It costs us work and saves you money.

Small senior teams

Four excellent people beat twelve average ones. We staff projects with the smallest capable team and keep it stable to the end.

Own the outcome

We care whether the product works in the market, not whether the tickets closed. That means pushing back on requests we think will hurt you.

Leave it better than we found it

Every project ends with your team more capable than when we arrived. Documentation and pairing are part of scope, not extras.

Sustainable pace

No crunch, no heroics. Rested engineers write fewer bugs, and a team that burns out mid-project is a risk you are paying for.

Measure, then decide

Opinions are cheap. We instrument what we ship and let the funnel settle arguments about what to build next.

The team

People you will actually work with

No account managers between you and the people writing the code.

AR

Amara Reyes

Founder & CEO

Fifteen years shipping consumer and B2B products. Sets the engineering bar and sits in on every kickoff.

DK

Daniel Kwon

Head of Engineering

Former platform lead at a fintech scale-up. Owns architecture reviews and release quality.

SM

Sofia Marchetti

Design Director

Product designer turned researcher. Turns fuzzy problems into flows people actually finish.

TO

Tobi Okafor

Mobile Lead

Swift and Kotlin specialist. Obsessive about cold-start time and battery behaviour.

NP

Nisha Patel

Delivery Manager

Keeps sprints honest. Your single point of contact from kickoff to handover.

LB

Lucas Brandt

DevOps Lead

Builds the pipelines, monitoring and rollback paths so releases are boring.

Client feedback

In their words

They ran discovery properly instead of jumping to code, and it saved us a quarter of wasted build. The app shipped on the date they gave us in week one.

MH
Marcus HaleVP Product, Ledgerly

The handover was the best I have seen. Documented architecture, a real test suite, and two weeks of pairing with our in-house team before they stepped back.

PD
Priya DesaiCTO, Northbeam

We came in with a rough idea and left with a product strategy. They pushed back on features we did not need, which is rare for an agency.
